Marc Pittie

Marc Pittie joined ClientEarth in September 2019 as a Senior Lawyer. He is responsible for ClientEarth’s programme in Agriculture.

Marc has more than 25 years of experience in EU law and litigation, which have included serving as a legal secretary at the General Court of the EU (référendaire to Judge Koen Lenaerts), as Academic Assistant at the University of Louvain (UCL – Belgium) and as a private practitioner both at the Brussels and Paris bars, being the partner in charge of the Brussels office of the law firm Bredin Prat.  He has acted frequently before the EU Commission and litigated several cases in the EU Court of justice, including in competition matters (mergers, cartels, abuse of dominance and state aid cases).

Marc graduated from University of Louvain Faculty of law (1992) and Faculty of Economics (1993), magna cum laude.
